Prairie Home suffers loss to Tuscumbia

The Prairie Home Panthers traveled to Tuscumbia March 26, where they lost 7-3 to the Lions.

"We lost a close game that I feel we gave away," Panther Coach Jesse Oswald said. "We had two key errors in the first inning and some other mental mistakes that gave Tuscumbia a four-run cushion to begin the game. After that, we settled down and played some good ball."

Tuscumbia got off to an early lead, 4-0 after the first inning. Prairie Home scored one run in the second, one in the third and one in the fourth to trail 5-3 going into the fifth inning. The Lions added two runs in the fifth and held the Panthers scoreless in the last two innings to take the win, 7-3.
