The California Stingray Swim Team will host an informational meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, at the California City Hall Public Meeting Room.
The swim team is no longer a part of the California Recreation Association and will be starting a new organization. Those who would like to join the team and/or be a part of building this new organization are encouraged to attend the meeting, which is open to new team members and those who were previously on the team. This is a competitive team, not swim lessons.
Youth up to age 18 who are eligible to participate must be able to swim the following distances without assistance: ages 10 and under - one length of the swimming pool (25 meters); and ages 11 and older - two lengths of the swimming pool (50 meters).
