Area athletes shine at Russellville War Tribe Relays

The Russellville Junior High War Tribe Relays were held April 2, where California and Russellville athletes were top finishers, as well as Jamestown.

In the girls' division, the top 10 teams are as follows: Fatima, 116.5; Russellville, 94; South Callaway, 80; Jamestown, 61; California eighth grade, 58; Eugene, 53; California seventh grade and Iberia, 32 each; Blair Oaks seventh grade, 30.5; and St. Elizabeth, 16.

In the boys' division, the top 10 teams are as follows: California eighth grade, 118.5; South Callaway, 82; Fatima, 81; Blair Oaks, 65; Boonville seventh grade, 54.5; Russellville, 50.5; California seventh grade, 48; Iberia, 41; Eugene, 27.5; and Jamestown, 24.

Individually, the top six finishers in each event, except for the relays, earned medals. In the relay events, the top three relay teams earned medals.
