CMS track team hosts quad meet

The California Middle School track team hosted the California Quad Meet April 17 at California High School, where California finished the seventh grade boys' division in first place, and placed second in the eighth grade boys' division, and the seventh and eighth grade girls' division.

Also competing at the meet were teams from Jamestown, Prairie Home, Eldon and Versailles schools.

Team scores are as follows: in the seventh grade boys' division, California placed first with 72, followed by Versailles with 67, and Eldon with 56; in the eighth grade boys' division, Eldon placed first with 90, followed by California with 68, and Versailles with 37; in the seventh grade girls' division, Eldon placed first with 86, followed by California with 54, and Versailles with 52; and in the eighth grade girls' division, Eldon placed first with 92, followed by California with 49, Versailles with 31, and Jamestown with 30.
