The Third Annual Dane T. McGuire Memorial Golf Tournament was held July 28-29 at the California Country Club, where a total of 41 teams participated in the 3-man scramble.
Donnie and Jill McGuire, California, host the tournament in memory of their son Dane, who died Oct. 3, 2009.
"I was really happy to see nearly all of the kids who golfed with Dane his senior year at the tournament," Jill said.
The two-day event included hamburgers, hot dogs and beverages for participants throughout competition both days, a silent auction, and a meal was provided for participants Saturday evening (July 29).
