Osage boys and Eldon girls win CRA Invitational

The California boys rec. basketball team faced Osage in the championship game of the California Recreation Association (CRA) Sixth Grade Invitational Saturday afternoon, where the Pintos lost 37-15 to finish the tourney in second place. The California Recreation Association Sixth Grade Basketball Invitational was held last week (Feb. 6-11) at California Middle School, where the Eldon girls and Osage boys ultimately won the tourney championships.

In the girls' division, Eldon defeated Tipton 35-19 for the title Saturday. Jamestown defeated Ashland 29-17 in the contest for third place and Versailles defeated St. Peter and Paul 23-15 in the contest for seventh place. Osage won the consolation game against California 25-9.
