A total of 22 Prairie Home School students participated in the CCAA Math Contest held Feb. 2 at Malta Bend, where nine were individual award winners, while Prairie Home finished the team competition in second place. First row, from left, are Shane Bushner, first place in Pre-Algebra; Shelby Salzman, second place in Pre-Algebra; Rayce Kendrick, 10th place in Algebra 1; Josey Wright, seventh place in Geometry; and Damon Wendt, first place in Senior Math Topics; second row, Josey Stevens, ninth place in Senior Math Topics; Nicholas Stock, Brooke Emmerich, Sam Distler and Kody Utterback; third row, Amber Carmichael, Kristynn Watson, Sarah Gipson, Melanie Bryan and Kohlie Stock; and fourth row, Jessie Kennedy, Jordan Thiessen, Cecelia Wright, Dennis Imhoff and Krista Small, 10th place in Geometry. Katlynn Watson and Kati Smith also participated, but were not present for the picture. Smith placed third in Pre-Algebra.
