Judi Casavechia, executive director of Southside Main Street, sits in one of the art chairs in the 1300 block of the Little Rock street Monday. The exhibit is part of the group's "Places, Spaces, Chairs" project.

"Lent is a very special season," Turner said, "for the Catholic faith. And having Ash Wednesday and our fish fry is a way of getting people into the swing of things and into the mood of reflecting and getting closer to Jesus."

Turner said there is a lot of work which goes into the fish fry. The council buys the menu items and serving items locally which he added is a win-win for both the community and Knights.
