After trailing Dixon for three and a half quarters Wednesday night at the Class 3 District 10 Girls Basketball Tournament at Cole Camp, California's Lady Pintos came back in the final three minutes of the semifinal game to snag a 48-46 win and advance to the championship game.
California, the #2 seed, will face top-seeded Skyline for the district title at 6 p.m. Saturday at Versailles. (*Note: The Class 3 District 10 Tournament was held at Versailles High School Monday-Tuesday, then temporarily moved to Cole Camp High School Wednesday-Thursday. Friday and Saturday's games are tentatively scheduled to be played back at Versailles.)
