The California Middle School seventh grade girls basketball team was on the road Dec. 13, where the Lady Pintos captured a 43-24 win against St. Peter and Paul.
"California led eac of the four quarters, outscoring St. Peter and Paul 18-7, 9-7, 6-3 and 10-7 to secure the win.
"The girls played with a lot of courage in this game," California Coach Bryan Lawson said. "St. Peter and Paul has a lot of tall girls, but we were more disciplined and fundamentally sound than they were."
