California's freshman girls basketball team hosted Columbia's West Jr. Saturday, where the Lady Pintos captured a 35-20 victory.
California led 13-6 after the first quarter and 15-6 at the half. West Jr. turned up the heat in the third quarter, outscoring California 12-4, however, the Lady Pintos came back to outscore West Jr. 16-2 in the final frame to secure the win.
