Promise Trio, a group of southern gospel singers, performed at Tipton Community Baptist Church Saturday, Jan. 21. Many came out to hear familiar and new hymns sung by the group consisting of David Mann, T.J. Evans and Andrew Bailes. Bill Stahl, a deacon and song leader at the church, led those present in singing "Praise the Lord, Great Things He Hath Done," before the trio performed.
"We got a call about the group and how they would be traveling through Missouri," Stahl said. "We went on the Internet and listened to some of their performances and were impressed. So we invited them to come here and they traveled here on their tour from Tennessee going west."
