At the regular monthly meeting of the California Progress, Inc. (CPI) Board of Directors, held Thursday, Jan. 19, at Wood Place Public Library, second floor, the "Wine, Dine and Win" fundraiser was discussed.
The event menu needs to be finalized with the caterer. Items for the silent auction are being sought. The event is in April.
The board was informed that on behalf of the restored Finke Theatre, a Historic Preservation Award was applied for and the plaque will be presented on March 21 at the Capitol in Jefferson City. The new curtains to replace the water-damaged ones have been ordered.
