A special meeting of the City of California Board of Aldermen on Monday, Jan. 23, discussed the responses to the Request For Proposal (RFP) on repair of the swimming pool and the needed repairs on the South Waste Water Lagoons.
The RFP was sent out Dec. 30 and three proposals were returned by the noon Jan. 23 deadline. The three proposals were opened at 2:30 p.m. It was decided the lengthy proposals, also described as cumbersome, needed to be examined and summarized in order to make adequate comparisons.
