The Moniteau County Historical Society will meet at the Cultural Heritage Center at 7:30 p.m. Monday, July 9. This will be a general business meeting with preparations for the upcoming ice cream social and the booth at the Jamestown anniversary celebration. Guests are welcome. The Moniteau County Historical Society Ice Cream Social will be held on Saturday, July 14, from 5-7 p.m., serving ham and chicken salad sandwiches, ice cream, cake or pie and beverage. The cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children 10 and under. The serving will be at the Cultural Heritage Center at 201 N. High St., California.
