The family and friends of historic Cedron Catholic Church held the annual get together Sunday, July 29. The event began at the Cedron Church facility at noon for Mass conducted by Fr. Fred Elskamp, pastor of the California and Tipton parishes. About 70 were present. The special celebration moved to the Jamestown Community Center for a special carry-in dinner beginning at 1:30 p.m.

Members of the local community and the extended families of many of the original parishioners have made an effort to keep the building and grounds in good shape in spite of the fact that the church has not been used on a regular basis since about May of 1993. Event proceeds assist in building maintenance.
