Michael Miller, owner of Classic Touch Body and Paint, said 22 years ago when he was 16 his father warned him not to put on Unilug Cragar Wheels on his 1976 Pontiac Grand Prix. After not listening and his wheels falling off causing his fender to be dented, his father was not going to fix his fender. So after taking off the fender and beating it out himself, Miller has been working on fenders ever since.

"For me it is pretty rewarding because I like to take something that looks like junk to others," Miller said, "and turn it into something that looks great. Some see things as junk or trash and I just see a diamond in the rough. I like to take the roughest piece and make it into the prettiest."

Miller had worked for several years and was in charge of the shop for the last year at the Fisher Body Shop in California before it closed. Wanting to continue to serve the area where he has made a good connection, Miller opened Classic Touch Body and Paint, currently located at 701 East Buchanan, Feb. 1.
