Eldon led 1-0 after the first inning, however, California took control from that point on to hold the Mustangs scoreless while adding one run in the second inning, two in the third, three in the fifth and two in the sixth inning to capture the win.

Addison Jobe pitched the win for the Pintos.

"Addison pitched a fine game," California Coach Dwight Fitzwater said. "He scattered six hits, struck out five and only allowed one unearned run. We played good defense. When you make plays, it makes it easy to pitch. When Addison is on the hill, we have a real good chance of winning any game."
