Cargill Meat Solutions donates to food pantries

Working through its Community Involvement Committee, Cargill Meat Solutions donated hamburger to food pantries in local communities in which the company has a significant presence.

The meat was divided between the food pantries of California, Eldon and Versailles. According to Frank Hensley, pastor of New Life Christian Center, the food pantry in California is operated by the Moniteau Christian Ministry Center. Joe Branstetter, of the Eldon Community Food Pantry, picked up the meat for that location. The Eldon facility is operated by the Eldon Ministerial Alliance. Todd Forman picked up the donated product for the Versailles food pantry, which is operated by the West Central Action Agency, based in Appleton City.

The meat was loaded for transport by the recipients as well as Cargill Meat Solutions personnel, Blake Howard, Dan Britton and Chrissy Arriola representing the members of Cargill's Community Involvement Committee.
