Middle school vocal groups have spring concert

The California Middle School's Pinto Express and Music Connection presented a spring concert directed by Marcia Burgher on Thursday, May 10, at the high school auditorium.

The sixth grade Music Connection performances included "Yonder Come Day," "Hope is a Hidden Star," "This Ol' Man," and "Fireflies."

Among the pieces performed by the seventh and eighth grade Pinto Express were "A Joyful Song," "Music in You" and the Irish accumulative folk song "Hi! Ho! the Rattlin' Bog," with instrumental accompaniment.
