Plans for summer maintenance projects were reported to the California R-I School Board Wednesday, May 16, at the regular monthly meeting. The meeting, which was at the elementary school facility, was delayed until after the Baccalaureate Service.

According to Superintendent Dwight Sanders, the roof recoat project at the high school will be completed along with needed repairs to the concrete sidewalks and parking lot. New carpeting will be laid in the band room. Tile flooring was considered, but because of acoustics, carpeting was chosen.

The gutters will be repaired or replaced as determined to be necessary. There has been some problems with leakage on the north side of the building because of faulty gutters.
