Approximately 75 boys in grades 5-12 attended the annual California Pinto Basketball Camp last week (May 22-25) at California High School, where they had the opportunity to brush up on their skills on the court.
"We had kids from California, High Point, Latham and St. Andrews," Coach Scott Loring said.
CHS Head Pinto Basketball Coach Blair Scanlon directed the camp, assisted by Coach Loring, Coach Lance Conner, Coach Don delRosario and former Pinto basketball player Dustin Cook.
The camp consisted of three groups: one for boys in grades 5-7, one for grades 8-9, and one for grades 10-12. While the younger participants worked on basic fundamentals, grades 9-12 were instructed on a more advanced level.
