Lady Indians 3, Bunceton 2
Russellville traveled to Bunceton on Friday, pulling out the win in five sets.
The Lady Indians won the first two sets, 25-13 and 25-17, but dropped the next two 26-28 and 19-25. They then went on to dominate the fifth set, winning 15-5.
Russellville is back in action Monday, Aug. 31 at home against Linn. Varsity and junior varsity games start at 6 p.m.
Jamestown Baseball
New Bloomfield 6, Eagles 0
Tied 0-0 in the fifth inning, New Bloomfield scored four in the fifth inning and two in the sixth to pull away from Jamestown Friday.
The Eagles had only two hits, one from Wyatt Hunziker and one from Austin Flippin.
The Eagles will play will host Russellville at 5 p.m. on Thursday.
