Lady Indians place fourth at Linn Invitational

The Russellville High School track team competed at the Linn Invitational Thursday, where the Lady Indians finished the girls division in fourth place with 69.5 points. Blair Oaks won with 115, followed by Fatima in second place with 99.5, and South Callaway in third place with 96.

Individually for Russellville, Hannah Campbell placed third in the 100 Meter Dash with 13.24, and Jorden Barnhart, sixth, 13.59. Justice Miller placed third in the 200 Meter with 27.93, while Emma Koestner placed fourth in the 400 Meter with 1:05.15. Grace Young finished the 800 Meter third with 2:35.63. Miranda Hill placed seventh in the 1600 Meter with 5:57.95, and placed fourth in the 3200 Meter with 12:40.55.

The 4x100 Meter Relay team placed first with 51.99, while the 4x200 Meter Relay team placed first with 1:52.07. The 4x400 Meter Relay team placed fourth with 4:39.06, while the 4x800 Meter Relay team placed seventh with 12:01.01.

Campbell placed third in the Long Jump with 14'9". Jamie Webster placed seventh in the High Jump with 7'0", and Taylor Young finished eighth with 7'0".

Eldon won the boys division of the Invitational with 141 points, followed by Blair Oaks with 101, Fatima with 88.5, and California with 81.

Individually for Russellville, the 4x800 Meter Relay team placed fourth with 9:12.21.

Next for the RHS track team is the Russellville Invitational Saturday.
