The City of California residential clean-up week will be held from April 8-12. City crews will begin picking up trash at curbside at 6 a.m. It will be helpful for collection to have items in boxes or trash bags.
Large item pickup, including appliances, furniture and trimmed brush up to four (4") diameter should also be placed at curbside. Any old lumber or metal must be cut into four (4') foot lengths and tied into bundles for accessibility of the packer truck.
Items that can not be picked up are leaves, grass clippings, yard waste, hazardous or flammable household liquids, unclean paint cans, automobile parts including tires and batteries, rocks, bricks or concrete.
The schedule for pickup of all included in curbside collection will be as follows: April 8, North of Buchanan Street; April 9, South of Buchanan Street; April 10, no pickup; April 11, North of Buchanan Street; April 12, South of Buchanan Street.
