Capital City's First Annual W.O.W. Expo set for March 9-10

The first annual W.O.W. (Women's Official Weekend) Expo will be held 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Saturday, March 9, and 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. Sunday, March 10, at the Truman Hotel and Conference Center, Jefferson City. The two-day event is a women's show dedicated to educating, empowering and entertaining women of all ages, while providing a fun-filled weekend of endless retail therapy.

The Expo will include over 60 vendors showcasing products and services such as healthcare, retail therapy, food and beverage tastings, cooking demos, as well as a live hair show and fashion show, to name just a few.

The W.O.W. Expo is a platform for promoting and celebrating women, and promoting new products and services. The event also provides the perfect opportunity for women to spend a day, or two, with a girlfriend, sister, mother or grandmother, browsing through products, sampling treats, meeting community leaders and discovering a healthier way of living.

The cost to attend is $3 online (www.mowowexpo.com) or $5 at the door. A portion of the proceeds will benefit a local family in need.

There will also be door prizes, such as a "Family Night Out" valued at $100 from Steve's Family Restaurant, Lohman, and Unique Creations Studio, Jefferson City, and many more.

Currently, a few openings remain for booths at the event. The cost for an executive booth is $375, while a half-booth is $200. Vendors interested in booking a booth can contact W.O.W. Expo founder Alicia Arnett at www.mowowexpo.com.
