California city and school board election filings

With the local election coming up on April 2, filings for California R-I School Board and City of California are set to close on Tuesday, Jan. 15, at 5 p.m.

Two people have filed so far for the two seats which are up for election on the California School Board. Those who have filed are Paul Bailey and Rhonda Meyer.

The seats coming open are held by Bailey and Kyle Wirts.

Those who have filed for the city offices up for election so far are:

For mayor - Norris Gerhart, incumbent.

For Ward I Alderman - Nathan Lewis and Tina Kirchner. The seat is currently held by Tony Wineland.

For Ward II Alderman - Cameron Freiner, incumbent, and Charles E. Roll.

For Ward III Alderman - Carol Rackers, incumbent.

No one has filed for City Collector.
