The Russellville Indians hosted Prairie Home Friday night, where they came away with a 58-57 win from the Panthers, thanks in part to a free throw made by Levi Anderson with under 20 seconds left to play, to give Russellville the edge, and ultimately the win.
Chandler Wolf led the Indians with 28 points.
Previously, Russellville hosted Eugene Jan. 15, where the Indians defeated the Eagles in overtime 78-68.
Brenden Jackson led Russellville with 35 points and nine assists. Anderson followed with 21 points and led rebounds with 10. Dakota Burgess chipped in with 11 points, while Wolf added 10.
Russellville (13-4) will host Calvary Lutheran at 6 p.m. Friday.
Prairie Home is currently participating in the CCAA Conference Tournament (Jan. 21-26) at Bunceton. The Panthers will play Higbee at 6:30 p.m. today (Wednesday), then Prairie Home will face Otterville at 5 p.m. Thursday.
