VBS underway at UCC

The United Church of Christ Vacation Bible School, California, started Monday, July 15, and will continue through Thursday, July 18, with approximately 45 youth from preschool to fifth grade in attendance.

The theme of this summer's VBS is "Kingdom Rock - Where Kids Stand Strong For God."

Director Pam Jenkins said, "We're excited about all of the kids we have. It's all come together really nice."

Activities at VBS include games, craft-time, snack-time in the "king's kitchen," singing, and bible-time including "epic bible adventures" coordinated by Carole and Robert Barbour.
