The Moniteau County Health Center Board of Trustees meeting was held Monday, July 15, at 6 p.m., in the health center meeting room. Board members present for the meeting were Dr. James Canter, Eileen Crawford, Norma Blankenship, Administrator Andrea Kincaid and Office Manager Brandy Arnold.
Dr. Canter, President, called the meeting to order. Minutes from the June meeting were reviewed and accepted.
Receipts and disbursements were reviewed and accepted
In new business, board members reviewed the mid-year budget. Crawford made the motion to accept the mid-year budget as presented. Blankenship seconded the motion and the motion carried.
In the administrator's report, it was reported 434 children are registered to attend the Moniteau County Back to School Fair Saturday, July 27, at the California High School. Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis) immunization clinics have been scheduled. The first one is Tuesday, July 16, at the Tipton Nutrition Center. The last clinic is scheduled for Saturday, July 27, at the Back to School Fair-California High School. This vaccine is recommended for ages 11 and up.

Board member, Dr. Canter, visited the health center during the month of June. The next scheduled meeting will be held on Monday, Aug. 19, at 6 p.m., in the health center meeting room at 401 S. Francis St., California. The tax levy will be set at the next board meeting following the public hearing, Aug. 19.
