Kennedy is the daughter of Tom and Kelly Volkart of California. She is a 2013 graduate of Cole County R-1 School in Russellville. While in high school, she was in National Honor Society from her sophomore to her senior year. She was also in character council from her sophomore to senior year as well. Was in FFA her junior year. She was involved in sports playing volleyball and basketball all four years of high school. Kennedy went through the Certified Nurses Assistant program through Nichols Career Center and is employed at Capital Region Healthplex in Jefferson City. Her passion in particular, is playing basketball where she has earned a full ride scholarhsip to play college ball. She will be attending William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri this fall and playing basketball for the lady owls.
Kennedy has had special training for one year of drama as well as in dance.
Kennedy plans to major in biology and minor in business administration and then go on to become a chiropractor.
