Green Grove School students met at Burger Haus in California May 25 for a reunion. The students have been meeting since 1992. Green Grove was located west of Latham until it was burned down by an arsonist a few years ago.
Attending were Warren Hutchison, Willene Kasper, Bill Hucthison, Vera Buell, John Mills, Jewel Hall, Lelan and Dorothy Fulks, Loyd and Doris Fulks, Linda Mills, Monta Jane and Monroe Uptergrove, Bill and Marie Wehmeir, and Wesley and Lucille Wehmeir.
After the luncheon, some of the students went to the Moniteau Care Nursing Home to visit their former teacher, Virginia McDonald.
Ms. Virginia as she was called, was one of the greatest teachers who taught at Green Grove for several years. She is loved by her former pupils and brought out the best in all of them.
