The City of California Parks and Recreation is currently hosting registration for the 2013 Adult Fall Softball League. The seven-game schedule will consist of two divisions: mens league and co-ed league, and will include seven games that will begin as early as Aug. 25 at Field #4 (lower) at the California Sports Complex. Game dates and times will be determined at the mandatory managers meeting, which will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 15, at California City Hall.
The deadline to register a team is 5 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14. The entry fee is $200. There is also a forfeit fee of $50, which must be paid separate at the time of registration, in the form of a check (no cash), which will not be cashed unless the team forfeits a game.
Registration forms are available at California City Hall located at 500 S. Oak Street, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Checks must be made payable to: City of California Parks and Recreation. Forms can be mailed to: City of California (City Hall) Parks and Recreation, 500 S. Oak Street, California, MO, 65018.
After hours, forms can be dropped in the utility drop box at City Hall, which is open 24 hours.
