Murder at UCC

Don't worry, no one really dies, but "Friends" of the Moniteau County Library @ Wood Place and the CHS Drama Club are collaborating for the first time ever for a murder mystery dinner theatre production. Proceeds benefit the Moniteau County Library and the experience benefits the CHS students looking for acting experience. This may be the beginning of an annual collaboration.

This year's production is "The Death of Dr. Pepper," by Eileen Moushey. It features a six student cast comprised of Ashley Davis, Ashley Douglas, Dakota Harris, Taylor Kuttenkuler, Alexx Lewis and Jordyn Simmons. Other Drama Club and National Honor Society members are volunteering as servers for the evening.

For just $25 audience members can enjoy a main course of stuffed chicken breasts or brisket, door prizes, participation in the murder mystery, a giveaway gift and for one lucky winner, a grand prize for correctly identifying the killer. All tickets must be purchased in advance at the Moniteau County Library. The meal and performance will take place on Friday, May 10, at the United Church of Christ fellowship hall on North Oak Street. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with the meal starting at 6:45 p.m.
