Mid-Mo Ambulance board meets

The Mid-Mo Ambulance District Board of Directors regular monthly meeting Wednesday, May 8, was brief, lasting less than 30 minutes.

Following approval of the minutes and treasurer's report, the board considered and approved the bills and payroll. The board was presented with the report of $347.78 in write-offs done in the office.

Administrator Lee Kempf commented having nothing to report other than a couple of mechanical issues with ambulances. One ambulance will get a new transfer case and another has an electrical problem which is believed to be related to installation of the tracking device and software.

The treasurer's report for April was presented with a balance of funds on hand in the amount of $487,173.68.

Run stats for April were presented: Tipton - 44 calls with 26 transports; California - 60 calls, 41 transports; Versailles - 139 calls, 94 transports; and Barnett - seven calls, six transports. Total calls district-wide were 250 with 167 transports, for a transport rates on patient contact calls of 73.9 percent.

The next meeting is set for Wednesday, June 22, at 7 p.m.
