Pinto Baseball Reception held at CHS

The annual Pinto Baseball Reception was held May 21 at California High School, where members of the CHS varsity and JV baseball teams were recognized for their individual contributions and achievements throughout the 2013 season.

The following awards were presented to players by Coach Dwight Fitzwater: Best Defensive Player - JT Trachsel; Best Offensive Player - Jaden Barr; Most Improved Player - Jason Wolverton; Pinto Award - Dylan Albertson.

Tyler Silvey, Alec Koelling and Wolverton were presented plaques for their roles as senior captains, and Wolverton also received the Scheidt Award, which is given to an athlete who has lettered in three sports during their senior year.

Trachsel and Barr were also recognized for earning All-Conference honors, and first team All-District honors, while Alec Koelling was recognized for second team All-District honors.
