High Point R-III celebrates Halloween

Halloween is a tradition for High Point R-III. Students and staff celebrate the occasion with a parade of costumes, candy and treats. Thursday, Oct. 31, the students held the parade of costumes with class winners awarded and the most orginal costumes going to pre-kindergarten, Jett Rutledge, kindergarten, Trenton Koenigsfeld, first grade, Addison Harris, second grade, Ford Pearson, third grade, Billi Galliher, fourth grade, Isaac Dampf, fifth grade, Sydney Percival, sixth grade, Napolian Dynamite, seventh grade, Trey Porter and eighth grade, Brittney Sauer. The group winner was the Porter family dressed as the globetrotters. The staff winner was Joe Koskie. After the parade and awards the students held parties in each room hosted by parents. Children received many treats, played games and made crafts.
