Three charged in Jamestown area thefts

Charges have been filed in Moniteau County Court against three people for theft of property in the Jamestown area.

Charged with Class C Felony Theft/Stealing, of property valued at more than $500 but less than $25,000, are Colton J. Adams, 23, Boonville, Maxwell J. Wilson, 23, and Heather R. Boehm, 24.

According to Court documents, the three defendants are alleged to have stolen items including vehicle batteries, a trolling motor and an ATV from a shed on someone else's property. Some of the items have been recovered, some from a pawn shop. Total value of the property taken was in excess of $2,400.

If convicted, all three defendants could face up to seven years in prison and a $5,000 fine.
