California Police report
Sept. 22-Unlawful entry to a residence by a juvenile was reported on Railroad Avenue.
Sept. 29-Casey's General Store reported a shoplifting. The juvenile was detained and the juvenile authorities were contacted.
Oct. 1-A complaint was received regarding forged checks being passed in the California area.
Oct. 1-Officers were called to investigate a disturbance on Mulberry Street.
Oct. 2-An officer took a complaint concerning threats that were made at a business on West Buchanan Street.
Oct. 3-A juvenile was reported to have run away from a residence on Owen Street. The juvenile was found and returned home.
Oct. 3-An officer responded to an address on Aurora Street to check on a loud noise complaint.
Oct. 5-A domestic assault was reported at a residence on North High Street. A male subject was arrested and taken to jail.
Oct. 5-A complaint for a barking dog was received from an address on Latham Road.
Oct. 7-Used and new grader blades were reported stolen from the Moniteau County road shed on Park Avenue.
The Police Department has found a metal tool box on the roadway. The owner may identify and claim it at the Police Department.
