Billi Galliher, 8 years old, and her horse "Hitch" competed in the barrel racing event for the first time at the American Royal Youth Invitational Rodeo in September in Kansas City. She placed second in her event with a time of 15.01 seconds. First place was awarded to a 13-year-old girl from Kansas with the time of 14.93.
Galliher is the daughter of Will and Angie Galliher, High Point. She is the granddaughter of Sonny and Marilyn Galliher, High Point, and Sonny and Brenda Jungmeyer, Russellville.
