Troop 120 traveled to St. Patrick's Church in Laurie to attend the annual religious retreat for the Great Rivers Council of the Boy Scouts. The event was held on the grounds of the National Shrine of Mary, Our Mother. Throughout the weekend, the scouts participated in various discussions on faith and religious related topics. They attended Mass, walked the Stations of the Cross and enjoyed a weekend ending campfire. Troop 120 is now working on the Wilderness Survival Merit Badge which will cumulate in a campout where they will have to build their own shelters with what they can fit into a quart can and sleep in them overnite.

If your 11-17 year old son would enjoy doing outdoor activities such as this, call the Scoutmaster at 796-5685 to join the Troop.
