Bonecutter receives $1,000 scholarship

Tayler Bonecutter awarded scholarship.

Tayler Bonecutter, California, has been selected for a 2014 University of the Aftermarket Foundation Scholarship award of a $1,000 scholarship. A 2014 CHS graduate, and the daughter of Steve and Melissa Bonecutter, she attends Linn State Technical College studying Automotive Collision Technology. She also works part-time at Bonecutter Body Shop and McDonalds.

"Tayler Bonecutter was selected from more than 600 applicants at a recent meeting of the scholarship selection committee," said Peter Kornafel, chairman of the scholarship selection committee.

The Global Automotive Aftermarket Scholarship Symposium, Inc., the University of the Aftermarket Foundation and other donors have awarded more than 280 scholarships in 2014, with more than 2,500 since the program began in 1996.
