Harmonium Brass thrill audience

The Harmonium Brass came to the Finke Theatre Saturday night with the reputation as one of Missouri's top performing ensembles. Those in the audience were not disappointed. The group of five have a total of over 125 years of active brass playing and it showed with musical selections to please a diverse audience. The event was sponsored by Jay and Eileen Gattermeir, Ron and Vanda Harlan and the Missouri Arts Council, a state agency that provides financial assistance.

March 15 at 7 p.m. the "Lucky Old Sons" will be performing at the Finke. They are a four-piece band comprised of piano, tenor sax, drums and an electric mandolin. This St. Louis group will focus on the piano driven rock and country music of the 50s and 60s. Their performance is sponsored by Morris and Dolores Burger and Don and Margo Schlup.
