Volunteers with the Mid-Missouri Mission Team, also known as the 3MT Lifechangers, are in the area this week, providing work for houses in California and surrounding areas. This is the 10th summer the 3MT mission project has volunteered in the area providing repairs, paint and clean-up work for area homes of those in need.

The 3MT theme for this summer is Psalms 43:3 - Send forth your light and truth.

"This year the mission will concentrate especially hard on evangelism," 3MT co-founder Kevin Kohler said. "A total of 59 people have been saved in the past three years through the week-long mission events in central Missouri. A total of 90 homes have been painted for people who simply can't afford to do it themselves or who are unable to perform the work themselves. 3MT wants to make sure every home owner has the gospel presented to them this year."

The volunteers began work Monday, July 14, and will continue through Friday.
