California Fire Department responded to a fire Friday, June 20, around 11:15 a.m.
A home at 302 South Hodges Street was engulfed with smoke. The firemen went through the front entrance and out a side entrance of the home.
Burnt insulation and cabinet doors were carried out by the firemen.
No one appeared to be injured as Mid-Mo Ambulance, the California Police Department and California Fire Department were on hand to assist with the fire.
