Moniteau County 911 board meets

The Moniteau County Emergency Dispatch 911 Board discussed a radio console upgrade which is needed in the future and held a separate discussion about the maintenance contract for the recorder. Administrator Cory Sullivan was instructed to gather information and present it to the board at the next meeting.

In other business, the board approved Millsap Mechanical Services to do electrical evaluation and zoning for the 911 center heating and cooling. The board also approved the April 16 minutes and the treasurer's report.

Administrator Corey Sullivan reported That Geo-Comm mapping in Dispatch has been updated and continues to improve the use of the map. he also reported that all of the ordered road signs have been picked up and are going to be installed the next week.

Sullivan reported spending quite a bit of time attempting to validate addresses in question and has been in contact with the Moniteau County Commissioners to attempt correcting names of roads across all systems. He also reported that the dispatchers have been invited to train with the California Police Department and other law enforcement agencies in an "active shooter" incident in June.

Huber and Associates have been contacted to schedule replacement of the computers in dispatch.

According to the treasurer's report, sales tax received was $45,083.17. The MMDA account balance as of May 12 was $585,782.59. The CD balance was about $188,532 as of April 30. The total payroll was: April 23 - $9,717.25; May 7 - $8,979.65. Overall payroll taxes were $7,416.82. Total accounts payable approved at the meeting amounted to $28,338.84.
