The California Pinto Pride Band finished its 2015 season collecting eight trophies - which is the most trophies won by the organization in a single season since 1986. This season was also the most successful season, in recent history, for both the California Drumline (which finished in the Top 3 at each competition) and the Pinto Guard (which finished in the Top 5 at each competition).

The first of the three competitions took place on Sept. 26, when the Pride traveled to the Carrollton Band Day Competition. There the band took eighth in Field Show and 10th in Parade. The California Drumline tied for first place and the Pinto Guard placed fifth. Oct. 3, the Pride traveled to the Monroe City Black & Gold Invitational. There the band took fourth in Field Show and tied for second in parade. The California Drumline and Pinto Guard both took third. The final competition of the year took place in Trenton, where the band placed eighth in Field Show. The California Drumline took third and the Pinto Guard took fourth.

The Pinto Pride Band is under the direction of Dustijn Hollon and Stacey Davis and is assisted by Erika DeMoss. It is led on the field by drum majors Taylor Jones, Jarod McKee and Matthew Hurt. The California Drumline is under the direction of Hollon and is led on the court by snare captain Dylan Silvey and pit captains Caleb Stahl and Mason Albertson. The Pinto Guard is under the direction of Davis and is led on the court by captain Dania Isidro.

This December, the Pinto Pride Band will be traveling to Florida to participate in the Florida Citrus Bowl Parade, the Outback Bowl Parade, and will march in the Holiday Parade at Universal Studios Orlando. The next local performance will be the California Christmas Parade, Dec. 5, and the Winter Concert in the Performing Arts Center on Dec. 7, at 7 p.m.
