The California boys golf team couldn't possibly have been involved in a closer match on Monday at Columbia Country Club. Unfortunately for the Pintos, they were on the wrong end of a 191-192 scorecard against Fatima.
California's Jordan Geiser and Fatima's Kyle Hudspeth tied for medalist honors as each carded a 43. Matthew Hurt was the next best Pintos finisher with a 47. Kale McAdams and Liam Schatzer each finished with 51 for California.
The Pintos JV sqaud, however, dominated Fatima in a 241-273 victory. Dylan Ratcliff was the JV medalist with a 54, while Caleb Bleich was right behind with a 55.
