Pintos, Lady Pintos earn end-of-season awards

The California boys basketball team handed out its team awards during Sunday night's banquette.

Landon Mouse, who scored on the outside with his sharp 3-point shooting and inside by driving the lane, was presented the Mr. Offense award.

Jaylin Freeman made plays all season on the defensive side of the ball, which earned him the Mr. Defense award for the Pintos.

Starting center Jacob Wolken won the Chairman of the Boards award.

Guard Josh Woodruff was named the Most Improved player, while Ethan Hodges won the Pinto Award.

Jacob Adams earned the Best Teammate award.

The California girls basketball team handed out its team awards Monday night.

Prolific scorer Elizabeth Lutz was named the Offensive Most Outstanding Performer after leading the team in points per game this past season.

Post player Cameron Meyer was recognized as the Defensive Most Outstanding Performer.

Guard Ellie Wirts was named the Most Improved Performer for this past season.

The Inspiration Award went to Ashtyn Goans.
