COLUMBIA, Mo. - Missouri defeated Southern Illinois-Edwardsville 72-60 in women's basketball action Wednesday at Mizzou Arena.
Senior guard Sierra Michaelis had 24 points and made a career-high six 3-point shots on 13 attempts. Junior forward Bri Porter had a double-double with 18 points and team-high 10 rebounds, but fouled out. Redshirt senior guard Lindsey Cunningham also had a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
Redshirt senior guard Lianna Doty led the Tigers with six assists in her first career start. She started in place of sophomore Sophie Cunningham, who was out with a back injury.
Missouri (7-3) hosts Wichita State at 7 p.m. Friday.
